Postdoctoral Fellowship

Description

The Institute of Space Sciences (http://www.ice.csic.es/en), in Barcelona, is offering a Postdoctoral Fellowship. The fellow is guaranteed an appointment for 2 years, with an additional year being conditional to performance. The fellow should be a high-level independent scientist that can and is interested in interacting with one or more of the research lines of the institute while pursuing his/her own. Thus, any topic of research related to those pursued here is welcomed.

Candidates are expected to be within 8 years after their PhD. Maternity/parental leaves will not count against this limit. However, the position is not open to those who have already secured a faculty-level position or have had a postdoctoral contract with a duration of 3 years or more.

  • A minimum of 2 reference letters (e-mail sent separately to the address below)
  • Statement of Research (3 pages)
