Within the EURONS initiative, the CARINA Network will organize a workshop to discuss the future of european nuclear astrophysics.

MEETING PLACE

The Workshop will take place at the magnificent Parador d'Aiguablava (catalan for "blue water"), a charming 4-star resort hotel overlooking the catalan coast (a photo album is available at this link).

HOW TO REACH AIGUABLAVA

Details concerning transportation are given in the Third Circular. Specific information on how to reach Aiguablava by car (both from the French border and from Barcelona) is available.

FORMAT OF THE WORKSHOP

A few REVIEW talks have been arranged to encourage vivid discussions and to provide a framework for the different Working Group meetings. These one-hour talks are intended to be real reviews rather than biased presentations based only on personal work. The topics to be covered include:

Two review talks will be presented during wednesday and thursday mornings, whereas one talk is scheduled for friday morning. Meetings of the different Working Groups (see details at the CARINA web page) will take place in the afternoon of wednesday and thursday, and partly during friday morning. We plan to finish the workshop on friday, June 10, after lunch time. More information is given in the First Circular and the Second Circular.
