Andreu Font Ribera and Juan Carlos Morales Peralta have been awarded “premio extraordinario de doctorado” of the Universitat de Barcelona.
Andreu Font’s thesis “Large Scale Structure with Lyman Alpha Absorption Surveys” was directed by Jordi Miralda Escudé and tutored by Alberto Manrique Oliva.
Carme Jordi Nebot and Ignasi Ribas Canudas were advisors to Juan Carlos Morales, whose thesis is “The Effect of Activity on the Fundamental Properties of Low-Mass Stars” .
The awards ceremony took place on May 8th together with the “XVI Premio Claustro de Doctores”.
