Postdoctoral Positions

BEATRIU DE PINÓS

The “Beatriu de Pinós” program is oriented to professionals who have obtained a PhD degree. Its objective is to facilitate the incorporation of researchers to the different lines of research centers or institutes, depending on the modality chosen during the application. Researchers who hold a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent degree or doctorate from a university in the Catalan university system are elegible for this call. Be aware that this scholarship requires that the researcher should have obtained his or her PhD degree within a maximum period of 4-5 years (NOTE: check limiting date of acceptance, which may vary according to the application call dates). The date taken into consideration for this period of time refers to the PhD defense date and inmediate approval of the thesis.

JUAN DE LA CIERVA

The “Juan de la Cierva” contracts are also funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and are addressed to young professional researches who have recently obtained their PhD degree.

The “Juan de la Cierva” contracts have become two new consecutive programs of two years each and aimed at young doctors: Juan de la Cierva-training already available in 2013 under the name ” Postdoctoral training”and  Juan de la Cierva-incorporation which ara available for the first time in 2014.

RAMON Y CAJAL

The “Ramon y Cajal” contracts are funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and are addressed to professional researchers with a PhD degree, who have established a line of research within their field of study.

All candidates must contact the research group that they would like to join at most two months after the call deadline and before the list of selected candidates is published. This is the established procedure for being admitted in the Institute.

RAMON Y CAJAL


JAE-DOC

The “JAE-DOC” program is funded by the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) and is addressed to young professional researchers who have obtained their PhD degree. The contract lasts 3 years, except for those who have enjoyed a similar contract for a period exceeding two years.
