The Catalonia Space Labs make available to the public a series of equipment from the space sector in Catalonia to facilitate its visibility within the local ecosystem.<\/em><\/p>\n

Access to equipment for carrying out tests and developing components is an essential need within the space sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Catalonia Space Labs seek to map the facilities linked to the sector in Catalonia, with the aim of facilitating their use, promoting them at local and international level, and providing support for their improvement, either by maximising the use of already existing equipment, or by developing other infrastructure where needs are detected.<\/span><\/p>\n

A portal has been created, accessible to the public, to be a reference point for the equipment of the space sector in Catalonia to facilitate its visibility. The portal shows an inventory of the existing infrastructures and capacities, created in collaboration with the companies and entities that own them. Below, you will find the list of those infrastructures which have been confirmed to be present on the portal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Catalonia Space Labs is an initiative promoted by the <\/span>Government of Catalonia<\/b>, with the support of the <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/b> (IEEC), initiated as part of the NewSpace Strategy approved by the Catalan Government in 2020, and continues its deployment with the new <\/span>Catalonia Space Strategy 2030<\/b>, in force since autumn 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n
