The conference, organised by the Ministry of Education<\/a> of the Catalan Government and the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation<\/a> (FCRi, Fundació Catalana per a la Recerca i la Innovació), is featuring the participation of the astrophysicist and director of the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/a> (IEEC — Institut d’Estudis Espacials de Catalunya), Ignasi Ribas. The project will address four main topics this year: circular economics, robotics, astrophysics and cybersecurity. <\/p>\n

In the first part, each of the experts proposed a simple challenge to the students through a presentation video. Once visualized, the students will work together with the teachers to overcome the challenge and raise doubts or questions to the scientists. In this framework, Dr. Ribas, researcher at the Institute of Space Sciences<\/a> (ICE-CSIC), prepared a challenge focused on the discovery of exoplanets<\/a>. <\/p>\n
