On Tuesday, 10 October, the <\/span>Gaia space mission<\/span><\/a>, of the European Space Agency<\/a> (ESA), will present a series of studies to the entire scientific community. This is the so-called <\/span>Focused Product Release<\/span><\/a> (FPR), five articles on specific aspects of the mission, accompanied by the corresponding data.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gaia aims to produce the largest and most accurate three-dimensional map of our galaxy. The Spanish contribution to the mission has prepared online talks to explain these articles and its participation in them. Several researchers from the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/a> (IEEC \u2014 Institut d’Estudis Espacials de Catalunya) at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona<\/a> will be speaking. The talks will be in Spanish and will be streamed on <\/span>YouTube<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
