brings space closer to boys and girls coursing their fourth year of ESO, high school or formative cycles, to show them how it helps us to improve many areas of our society. From 8 to 13 July, the young people selected for the programme will share and live in community for a week during which they will acquire new knowledge through practical activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.8&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.8&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.8&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; link_font=&#8221;|700|||on||||&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the stay, students will learn what NewSpace is, what technologies it comprises and how it can help us in our daily lives. They will also discover what kind of research is currently being carried out in the field of space, what &#8220;CubeSats&#8221; are and what applications they develop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a part of the Talent and Society axis of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/politiquesdigitals.gencat.cat\/ca\/economia\/estrategia-new-space-catalunya\/index.html#googtrans(ca%7Cen)\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NewSpace Strategy of Catalonia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/catalangovernment.eu\/catalangovernment\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Government of Catalonia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieec.cat\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (IEEC) and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gostemspace.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GoSTEM<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> association organise this project within the \u2018Scientific Stay\u2019 project framework.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the stay, students will learn what NewSpace is, which technologies comprise it and how it can help us in our day-to-day life.
