In the framework of the <\/span>NewSpace Strategy of Catalonia<\/span><\/a>, the <\/span>Government of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (IEEC \u2014 Institut d’Estudis Espacials de Catalunya) announced last April the launch of the <\/span>call to participate in the \u2018NewSpace Catalonia\u2019 stand at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2024<\/span><\/a>, to be held in Milan from 14 to 18 October.<\/span><\/p>\n

Promoted by the Government of Catalonia with the support of the <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (IEEC) and the collaboration of the <\/span>i2CAT Foundation<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (ICGC), the <\/span>\u2018NewSpace Catalonia\u2019<\/b> stand seeks to project the industrial, innovation and talent generation capabilities present in the Catalan ecosystem to the world, in a space event of worldwide reference.<\/span><\/p>\n

The call proposed three modalities of participation in the pavilion. The companies selected for each category are announced below:<\/span><\/p>\n

Modality 1: Own space in the NewSpace Catalonia pavilion (co-exhibitor)<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

    Modality 2: Showcasing company within the NewSpace Catalonia pavilion<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

      Modality 3: Catalan ecosystem company with its own stand outside the NewSpace Catalonia pavilion<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

        The NewSpace Catalonia pavilion promoted by the Catalan Government and the IEEC at IAC 2024, measuring 140 m\u00b2, will have an exclusive area dedicated to housing the 8 companies selected in modality 1 and other shared presentation and networking spaces so that participating companies and organisations can publicise their activities, establish contacts with other leading players in the global space sector and promote global collaborations.<\/span><\/p>\n
