Caption:<\/strong> Ana Montaner and Juan de Dalmau with the SSP 2024 group that participated in the Media Training<\/em>\u00a0workshop.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span> [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” link_font=”|700|||on||||” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The \u2018<\/span>Space Studies Program<\/span><\/a>\u2019 (SSP), organised by the International Space University (ISU) with the support of the <\/span>European Space Agency<\/span><\/a> (ESA), reaches its 36th edition this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Underway in <\/span>Houston, Texas (USA), from past 8 June until 3 August,<\/b> the SSP will once again offer first-class interdisciplinary training in the field of Space, through theoretical courses, workshops and professional visits.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia <\/span><\/a>(IEEC) continues to play a prominent role in this year’s edition, thanks to the participation of the head of its Communication Office, <\/span>Ana Montaner,<\/b> in several activities of the programme.<\/span><\/p>\n During the week of 17 June,\u00a0Montaner conducted two workshops next to <\/span>Juan de Dalmau,<\/b> former Head of Communications at ESA\u2019s Technology Centre in the Netherlands and former ISU President.<\/span><\/p>\n During the first one, <\/span>\u2018Media Training: How to make the best out of a media interview\u2019,<\/span> the focus was put on interviews with journalists. Montaner and Dalmau provided participants with a hands-on learning experience to prepare for this kind of occasions.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” link_font=”|700|||on||||” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The second workshop, focused on <\/span>\u2018Crisis communication\u2019<\/span>, <\/span>provided the participants with a hands-on introduction to communication in case of a crisis in the space transportation field.
