The business incubation centre of the European Space Agency in Barcelona, <\/span>ESA BIC Barcelona<\/span><\/a>, has launched a new call to select the next four companies that will join its incubation programme.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ESA BIC Barcelona incubation programme aims to foster the growth of innovative start-ups that create products and services using space technologies or data, or that develop solutions for the space sector, thereby contributing to the promotion of Catalonia\u2019s aerospace industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative, driven by the <\/span>Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya \u2013 BarcelonaTech<\/span><\/a> (UPC), the <\/span>Mediterranean Technology Park<\/span><\/a> (PMT) and the Government of Catalonia\u2019s Department of Business and Labour \u2014 through the Secretariat for Digital Policies \u2014 is supported by Barcelona City Council \u2014 through <\/span>Barcelona Activa<\/span><\/a> \u2014 and forms part of the <\/span>Catalonia Space 2030 Strategy<\/span><\/a>. The strategy is developed with the collaboration of the <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (IEEC \u2014 Institut d\u2019Estudis Espacials de Catalunya), the <\/span>i2CAT Foundation<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (ICGC).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, eleven companies from the 2023 and 2024 calls are part of the programme: <\/span>CIRCE<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>EMC Barcelona<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Geoskop<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Kreios Space<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Slimop Space<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Xiroi Aerospace<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>AtMake<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Yplasma<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Spascat<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>TracksCO2<\/span><\/a> i <\/span>Systellar Space<\/span><\/a>. Recently, three more companies selected in the May 2025 call have joined: Wave Masters, Moai Tech and Wild Caster.<\/span><\/p>\n
