Institut d&rsquo;Estudis Espacials de Catalunya), Ignasi Ribas and Pilar Montes, respectively, have signed today, 5 March 2021, an agreement to formalise the IEEC&#039;s aerospace activity at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aeroportlleida.cat\/en\/\">Lleida-Alguaire Airport<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/politiquesdigitals.gencat.cat\/en\/tic\/estrategia-new-space-de-catalunya\/index.html\">NewSpace Strategy for Catalonia<\/a> promoted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/politiquesdigitals.gencat.cat\/en\/inici\/index.html\">Department of Digital Policy and Public Administration<\/a> of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which considers the potential of Lleida airport to become a key infrastructure for space activity in Catalonia.
