The <\/span>Government of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (IEEC) have opened a call for 3 \u2018Catalonia Space\u2019 grants to attend the <\/span>Space Studies Program<\/span><\/a> (SSP) of the <\/span>International Space University<\/span><\/a> (ISU). This call is framed within the <\/span>Catalonia Space Strategy 2030<\/span><\/a> and aims to promote activities focused on attracting, developing, and retaining talent able to develop solutions in the space sector.<\/span><\/p>\n The SSP is an intensive programme offering an <\/span>8-week professional development experience during the summer months<\/b> for students in the final stages of higher education. Its main goal is to prepare students to enter the professional world in the space economy and space industry fields.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>programme offers courses across a wide range of space-related disciplines, as well as practical training<\/b> through workshops and professional visits. During the programme, participants work in teams on projects addressing current and future topics in the space sector.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” link_font=”|700|||on||||” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The <\/span>38th edition will take place in Strasbourg (France)<\/b> from 22 June to 14 August 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n The \u2018Catalonia Space\u2019 grants complement those awarded by ISU itself, with the aim of partially covering the costs associated with participation in the SSP. <\/span>Each grant amounts to \u20ac8,000.<\/b> These are awarded as a lump sum to partially offset the costs of participating in the programme. <\/span>Chosen candidates will be required to cover the proportion of tuition fees not covered by the grants,<\/b> as well as the travel expenses to the SSP venue and the medical insurance.
