The XVII Scientific Meeting of the Spanish Astronomical Society (SEA) will take place from 13 to 17 July at the <\/span>Palau Firal i de Congressos <\/span><\/i>in Tarragona.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This biennial event is organised in collaboration with the Catalan research and university network. Particularly, the local organising committee includes a relevant presence of researchers from the <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (IEEC), the <\/span>Institute of Space Sciences<\/span><\/a> (ICE-CSIC) and the <\/span>Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the Universitat de Barcelona<\/span><\/a> (ICCUB). The Institut de F\u00edsica d\u2019Altes Energies (IFAE), the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (UAB), the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC), and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) also collaborate in this gathering.<\/span><\/p>\n The event will bring together more than 500 experts in astronomy, with a notable presence of young PhD researchers, who will account for nearly a third of the attendees.
