The job will involve participation in the development, implementation and testing of the PAU camera control system, dealing with monitoring and controling all camera subsystems and interacting with the telescope control system. It will also require working on the data management system that will process all PAUCam data. The job requires: Experience in software development in Python Knowledge of C\/C++\/Javascript Familiarity with Unix systems Familiarity with SQL Databases Familiarity with Subversion Fluency (both written and spoken) in English and Spanish It will also be taken into consideration: Experience in Corba development Experience in designing Web interfaces for Databases Knowledge of Graphical User interface implementation with QT (PyQT) We intend to fill this position as soon as possible. The contract will be until the end of 2012, although an extension is possible. The salary will be agreed upon with the chosen applicant.<\/p>\n
