Every night, the telescopes Joan Or\u00f3 and Fabra-ROA Montsec explore the Universe of the Observatori Astron\u00f2mic del Montsec. The glow that can be seen over the horizon is not the light pollution from any nearby city. It is zodiacal light, a result of the dispersion of sunlight in millions of interplanetary dust particles that fill the inner solar system. Zodiacal light is so subtile that it can only be observed under the darkest skies.
