These objects have the average size of the Earth; however, they can be more massive than the Sun. This makes white dwarfs to be extremely dense and to have exceptional properties. In this talk, we will study the physical characteristics of these exotic objects and we will see how the data provided by the Gaia satellite is helping us to significantly increase our understanding of white dwarfs.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
