A total of 15 speakers have been invited, including ICCUB members, scientists at other Catalan institutions working in the same research areas, and former ICCUB members who are currently working abroad. The meeting offers an opportunity to all participants with different interests to meet and discuss their research activities with other scientists working outside their specialty but within the broad scope of ICCUB study areas.<\/p>\n
The workshop will be held at the Facultat de Física in the Universitat de Barcelona, DAM's seminar room (724), on December 21st-22nd, 2015. The format will consist of 5 talks in the morning and 5 in the afternoon during the first day, and a single morning session on the second one. Each talk will last 30 minutes and there will be programmed coffee breaks in between to foster interaction. Speakers are asked to give their talk at a Physics graduate student level.<\/p>\n
