The Port d\u2019Informaci\u00f3 Cient\u00edfica (PIC) is a scientific and technological centre, operated under a collaboration agreement between CIEMAT and IFAE, specialising in the development of advanced tools and methods for the analysis of scientific data. PIC participates in data-intensive research projects across multiple disciplines, such as particle physics, astrophysics, materials science and biology. Its main objective is to accelerate research by making data analysis more effective through the use of machine learning, high-performance computing and big data, as well as distributed computing to support collaborative research.<\/span><\/p>\n
