Desde hoy, y hasta el próximo 3 de marzo, las calles de la ciudad condal se llenarán de tecnología, innovación e investigación en el ámbito de la conectividad.<\/p>\n

Este año, el Institut d’Estudis Espacials de Catalunya<\/a> (IEEC) asiste al congreso como uno de los tres centros referentes en la promoción del ecosistema NewSpace<\/strong>, junto con la Fundación i2Cat<\/a> y el Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya<\/a> (ICGC). El estand de la Estrategia NewSpace<\/a> de la Generalitat de Catalunya —ubicado en el Pabellón Digital Catalonia (Vestíbulo 4 – 4C1, estand 31)— pretende dar visibilidad a las actividades de innovación e I+D desarrolladas en su marco. <\/p>\n

Ampliamente conocido en todo el mundo, el MWC es la feria y el congreso más importante a nivel internacional del sector tecnológico, digital y de negocios. En su 17ava edición en la capital catalana, se prevé que asistan entre 40.000 y 60.000 personas de 150 países y que tenga un impacto económico de 240 millones de euros. <\/p>\n

El IEEC, conjuntamente con la Fundació i2CAT y el ICGC, desempeña un papel protagonista en la Estrategia NewSpace de Catalunya, aprovada en el Acuerdo de Gobierno del 27 de octubre del 2020, que tiene como objetivo potenciar el crecimiento de la industria digital y espacial<\/strong>.
\n 
\nLa colaboración y la coordinación entre el IEEC, i2CAT y el ICGC, junto con la Generalitat, permitirá identificar y generar sinergias y promover una estrategia conjunta, desarrollando actividades de innovación, acciones de I+D y proyectos para demostrar la viabilidad de la tecnología espacial en beneficio del ecosistema NewSpace<\/strong>. La experiencia complementaria de las tres entidades colaboradoras en el espacio, las tecnologías y ciencias digitales y de la comunicación, así como los servicios de geoinformación, es clave para la nueva economía espacial. Los tres actores trabajan de manera sincronizada para aumentar la competitividad y posibilitar casos de uso innovadores que antes no eran factibles.<\/p>\n

El NewSpace ha cogido impulso. Instituciones públicas, entidades gubernamentales, industria y sociedad colaboran para garantizar el éxito del sector NewSpace en Cataluña vinculado a tecnologías como la Observación de la Tierra, el IoT\/5G y el GNSS en beneficio de la sociedad en la era de la economía digital.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
