Desde el sector de la investigación, concretamente en los centros de investigación de Cataluña, en relación con la publicación de la sentencia del Tribunal Supremo los líderes sociales y políticos catalanes, queremos expresar nuestra preocupación por la gravedad del momento actual.<\/p>\n

En nuestro mundo, el desarrollo normal de la investigación científica se basa en la discusión de ideas, y todos los centros de investigación, con diversidad de opiniones y pareceres, se han comprometido a cumplir el Código de conducta de los centros CERCA, que establece los normas mínimas de relació y convivencia en nuestras instituciones en el contexto de Cataluña. La libertad de pensamiento, las ideas contrapuestas o las personas que las representan no pueden ser perseguidas, censuradas ni represaliadas. Nuestra actividad requiere, como el resto de la sociedad catalana, un fuerte compromiso con los derechos fundamentales de las personas y con el respeto mutuo. Del mismo modo, la protesta social y política, siempre no violenta, se debe poder llevar a cabo, en su caso, con una respuesta judicial y policial proporcionada.<\/p>\n

Ante las condenas y el mism ojuicio, queremos manifestar una vez más nuestra convicción por la democracia, el diálogo, la no violencia, el respeto a la disidencia dentro de la legalidad, la libertad de expresión y de acción ciudadana, y la voluntad popular de que los retos políticos sean resueltos desde la política, de manera proactiva y participativa, permitiendo la construcción de un entorno de progreso y competitivo en el contexto internacional.
