Mientras que los densos n&uacute;cleos de nubes moleculares colapsan bajo su propia gravedad, los campos magn&eacute;ticos representan una fuerza de resistencia, ya que el polvo y el gas cargados est&aacute;n atados a las l&iacute;neas de campo.<\/p>\n<p>Las observaciones de la polarizaci&oacute;n han demostrado que los campos magn&eacute;ticos est&aacute;n inequ&iacute;vocamente presentes en el universo y la teor&iacute;a predice su severo impacto en la din&aacute;mica del n&uacute;cleo. Debido a que la nueva generaci&oacute;n de instrumentos como ALMA y SOFIA ha estado revelando la morfolog&iacute;a del campo magn&eacute;tico, la distribuci&oacute;n del polvo y el gas en los n&uacute;cleos y capullos protoestelares con gran detalle, hemos ampliado nuestra comprensi&oacute;n de la interacci&oacute;n entre los campos magn&eacute;ticos y la gravedad. En esta charla, revisar&eacute; algunos de los aspectos cl&aacute;sicos y modernos de la evoluci&oacute;n de los protoestelares, y presentar&eacute; mi contribuci&oacute;n al tema.
