Technology Unit

The technology unit of the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona (ICCUB) provides researchers with specialised knowledge and experience in instrumentation, electronics, software engineering, and computer science to support contributions to international collaborations.
The technology unit is structured in two divisions:
- Electronics and instrumentation: development of instrumentation such as cameras and telescopes for the fields of high-energy physics, astrophysics and space.
- Software and data engineering: design of software to produce high quality datasets so that they can be exploited efficiently.
