The Communication Office manages, coordinates, and implements scientific and informative events, talks, round tables, congresses, competitions, hackathons, and public appearances of the Institute. In addition, the communication team has contact with the main national and international media for matters related to scientific results and the most current discoveries, as well as to send them the most important news from the centre.
It also collaborates regularly with public education centres in the territory to organise scientific talks and workshops.
The IEEC Communication Office works in close collaboration with the Communication Offices of its Research Units, as well as with those of the ‘mother’ Institutions (UB, UAB, UPC and CSIC). The IEEC communication team also communicates and coordinates with other research centres and institutions, both nationally and internationally.
