EURASIP Seasonal SATNEX School – Barcelona 2025

The EURASIP Seasonal SatNEx School 2025 is an international meeting designed for young researchers and professionals interested in the latest trends in space communications and security. The school aims to provide a space for learning and debate around exploration beyond Earth’s orbit, with a special emphasis on the cislunar and lunar environment.
This year’s edition will take place on September 22–23, 2025, at the Casa Convalescència of the UAB in Barcelona. Funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Association of Signal Processing (EURASIP), the event is co-organized by the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC).
The initiative will feature keynote talks by leading figures such as Holly Ridings (NASA) and Oana-Alexandra Graur (ESA).
The first day will bring together international experts on topics ranging from next-generation communications to non-terrestrial networks in the 6G era. On the second day, the SatNEx School will be held jointly with ICSSC 2025, broadening its scope with discussion panels covering standards, security, quantum technology, and artificial intelligence applied to space.
The event is free of charge but with limited seats.
