About PCP WISE
PCP WISE is a €19 million Pre-Commercial Procurement initiative, funded under the Horizon Europe programme. Of this amount, €12 million is allocated to research and development.
Its aim is to promote innovative solutions based on Earth Observation for smarter water management, helping Europe strengthen its climate resilience. The IEEC, together with the ICGC and the i2Cat Foundation, participates in the project by defining a use case to address current water management challenges in southern Europe.
Through PCP WISE, public buyers across Europe join forces to procure R&D services that can bring new solutions to the market, while providers and innovators (startups, SMEs, industry) have the opportunity to test, validate, and scale their technologies up to TRL 8 with real impact.
Organised by:
Institut d’Estudis Espacials de Catalunya (IEEC), Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (ICGC).
Goals:
Clarify how to participate in the PCP WISE call and facilitate dialogue and connections between startups, SMEs, and public buyers to drive innovative solutions in water management.
