Catalonia is once again present at the Space Tech Expo Europe, the largest and most important international trade fair for the European space industry, held in the German city of Bremen, which is hosting its eighth edition from 18 to 20 November.

It is participating with the ‘Catalonia Space 2030’ stand, promoted by the Government of Catalonia through the Secretariat for Digital Policies of the Department of Business and Labour, and coordinated by the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC — Institut d’Estudis Espacials de Catalunya). The stand hosts 12 companies or entities from the Catalan space ecosystem, which can display their products and services at individual booths (Asense, Augusta Abogados, Institut de Ciències Fotòniques (ICFO), Kreios, Slimop, Spascat, and Systellar), or give presentations and hold business meetings within the Catalan pavilion (2M Engineering & Product Development, Fundació i2CAT, GPA Space, Pangea Aerospace, and Osmium Solutions).

Additionally, nine more Catalan space ecosystem companies with their own stands at Space Tech Expo appear in the Catalonia Space 2030 catalogue as part of the Catalan delegation: Airbus Geotech, ALG, Compoxi, CT Ingenieros, GTD, Indra, Leaf Space, MWSE, and Open Cosmos.

Catalonia’s participation in this leading European event aims to promote the Government’s new Catalonia Space 2030 Strategy internationally, highlight the industrial, innovation, and talent capabilities of the Catalan space ecosystem, and provide opportunities for business development and international collaboration for participating companies and organisations.
