Planetary simulation laboratory

Planetary simulation laboratory

Laboratory focused on the simulation of the Martian planetary atmosphere.

It allows to place equipment in the Martian temperature regime (-70ºC to 0ºC), with the possibility of extending it up to 100ºC. This extended temperature range partially covers the Moon environment.

It has a large-volume temperature-controlled vacuum chamber. This chamber allows working with some regolith simulants. Temperature control is achieved by radiation and conduction (active plate). A three-layer mu-chamber for magnetic field attenuation is available.
