The companies EarthPulse, EMC Electromagnetic BCN, OSMIUM and Zenithal Blue Technologies, selected to join Catalonia Space Accelerator 2026

The companies that will take part in the 2026 edition of the Catalonia Space Accelerator, the Catalan space acceleration programme, have been announced. EarthPulse, EMC Electromagnetic BCN, OSMIUM and Zenithal Blue Technologies were selected for the initiative, promoted by the Government of Catalonia and coordinated by the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC) as part of the Catalonia Space Strategy 2030. 

Developed by the company Starburst, and announced last July, this second edition of the programme will once again help strengthen the Catalan space ecosystem, assisting the four carefully selected start-ups to accelerate their growth, expand internationally and connect with investors, corporations and leading experts from the global space sector.

Among other resources, participating companies will have access to individualised mentoring by specialised experts; market analysis, company positioning and business model; support for their business development and personalised support in identifying relevant investors.

A brief description of the area of expertise and the proposed product of each selected company follows:

EarthPulse transforms raw Earth observation data into actionable intelligence for any organisation managing critical infrastructure and assets. The company is developing an end-to-end operational decision layer for regulated and asset-intensive industries. Its flagship product, SPAI (Satellite Platform for Actionable Intelligence), allows satellite, climate, environmental and customer data to be converted into actionable insight.

EMC Electromagnetic BCN offers fast, agile and reliable electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and assessment services for satellite and payload developers. It does so directly within the product development cycle, helping engineering teams identify risks and design products correctly from the earliest stages. By incorporating EMC assessment earlier into the design process, its solution reduces errors, redesign costs and laboratory waiting times, helping to bring products to market faster.

OSMIUM is a cybersecurity company specialising in solutions for the space industry, aviation and defence. Its product catalogue includes the Osmium OS operating system and the Vanadium VPN (Virtual Private Network), both specifically designed for European dual-use and space systems.

Zenithal Blue Technologies combines its expertise in satellite instrumentation, calibration, remote sensing and AI to extract operational insights from large volumes of Earth observation data. Its main capability is the detection, analysis and geolocation of radio frequency (RF) emissions, and its solution can have applications in defence, maritime surveillance and telecommunications.
