We are opening the call for applications to participate in the Catalonia Space 2030 pavilion at Space Tech Expo Europe 2026 (Bremen)
Are you an innovative company or a research and innovation centre in the space sector?
If you answered in the affirmative to the previous question, your company or centre could be selected to exhibit at the Catalonia Space 2030 pavilion. This initiative is promoted by the Government of Catalonia within the framework of the Catalonia Space 2030 Strategy for Catalonia and coordinated by the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC), and will be featured at the upcoming edition of Space Tech Expo Europe. The congress, which brings together all types of international organisations and is one of the leading benchmarks in the space sector, will take place in Bremen from the 17th to the 19th of November 2026.
Space Tech Expo Europe 2026 is the ninth edition of Europe’s largest and most prominent trade fair for space technology and services. The exhibition showcases the latest space technologies and provides opportunities for networking, interacting, and debating current industry topics. A key B2B event, the fair annually attracts thousands of industry leaders, including manufacturers, service providers, research organisations, and government agencies. For companies within the space sector, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to connect with other industry professionals, discover the latest innovations and trends, and establish new collaborations. Furthermore, it enables businesses to showcase their own products and services to a broad and specialised audience.
This year, the Government of Catalonia will once again host a pavilion at the event, coordinated by the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC), in a prominent location designed to facilitate networking with other key players in the global space sector. The Catalonia Space 2030 pavilion is an initiative within the framework of the Catalonia Space 2030 Strategy, promoted by the Government through the Secretariat for Digital Policies of the Ministry of Business and Labour.
Companies will be able to use the pavilion to hold meetings and/or any other activities deemed relevant and agreed upon. These spaces will allow visitors, businesses, and organisations attending the congress to showcase their activities, establish contacts, and promote collaborations on a global scale.
This initiative seeks to project the industrial, innovation, and talent-generation capabilities present within the Catalan ecosystem to the world. The pavilion will showcase the potential for interaction between the space and digital sectors—both strategic for the emergence of the new space economy—as well as the various institutions in attendance and the strengths of the Catalonia Space 2030 Strategy and the sectors involved in this ecosystem.
Companies and entities hosted within the pavilion will enjoy maximum visibility, as well as the opportunity to participate in various dissemination and internationalisation activities held during the fair. Furthermore, they will receive guidance and support from the promoters of the strategy.
The deadline for the submission of applications is 14 June 2026 (23:59).
