International Conference & Satellite School: “THE ORIGIN OF COSMIC ELEMENTS: Past and Present Achievements, Future Challenges”
Almost three years after the Dubrovnik Workshop on "Origin of the Elements and Nuclear History of the Universe", the EuroGENESIS Program is coming to an end.

This Program succesfully assembled about 200 specialists in astronomy, astrophysics, nuclear physics, astro- and cosmochemistry, into a coordinated, interdisciplinary effort aimed at understanding how matter evolved in the Universe, from the ashes of the Big Bang to its present form. "The Origin of Cosmic Elements: Past and Present Achievements, Future Challenges" will review recent achievements and yet unsolved questions in the field of Nuclear Astrophysics and related areas.

Thematically, the workshop reflects the goals of the European-scale research program EuroGENESIS. The Workshop is, however, fully opened to any interested researcher in the field, since one of the main goals of the event would be to establish a roadmap for possible follow-up initiatives to be undertaken after completion of this program. In addition a two-day Satellite School (June 10-11) with a number of invited lectures on different aspects of Nuclear Astrophysics will be held prior to the Conference. This is specially suited for PhD students and young post-docs. For more information about the Conference, click here. [NOT TRANSLATED]
