The PAUcam has been completed
The PAUCam, a large field of view optical camera to be mounted at the prime focus of the William Herschel Telescope (WHT) at La Palma, has just been completed and is ready for shipment.

For the past five years many engineers, technicians and physicists from the Institut de Ciències de l’Espai (IEEC-CSIC) together with staff from CIEMAT (Madrid), IFT/UAM (Madrid), PIC (Barcelona) and IFAE (Barcelona), have been heavily involved in the building of the camera. The camera has been taking its last characterization data last week.

The camera is now completed and and will be shipped to La Palma on Tuesday April 28, where it will be commissioned during the nights of June 4 to 7. [NOT TRANSLATED]
