A total solar eclipse, which will be visible as partial in Spain, will occur on Friday March 20, 2015.On the occasion of the eclipse, the ICCUB and the Astronomy and Meteorology Department offer:

an informative web page where you will find the characteristics of the eclipse and information for a correct observation an eclipse leaflet the opportunity to observe the eclipse with a telescope and with eclipse glasses, which will be provided to the public, from different places of Barcelona:
- in front of the door of the UB Historical Building (Pl. Universitat)
- at Espai Ciència of the Saló de l'Ensenyament at Montjuic (entry with the ticket of the Saló de l'Ensenyament from 10 h)
- at the terrace roof of the Physics Faculty of the UB (only faculty members)
