My work is focused on stellar astrophysics, which can be divided into two major lines. Firstly, I am studying stellar interiors from the observational point of view through the use of eclipsing binary stars. The goal is to understand the structure and evolution of stars across the entire range of masses they can attain. Among the open questions that I study, I am interested in understanding the effect of convective overshooting in high-mass stars and the impact of magnetic fields on the properties of low-mass stars.

I am also interested in the eclipsing binaries located in Local Group galaxies, which serve as distance indicators. Within the second line of my research work is focused on aspects related with exoplanets. On one hand, I study the various effects that high-energy fluxes and particle emissions from their central stars can have on the exoplanets within their system. On the other hand, I analyze the dynamical evolution of planetary systems to better understand their formation mechanisms.
